The undisputed king of Oxford Plains Speedway, over 150 of the Lewiston, ME, native's 200-plus career wins, including three Oxford 250 triumphs, and seven of his dozen-plus championships came at the famed third mile.

Starting in Oxford's Charger class in 1958, he has gone on to post major wins at Beech Ridge, Thunder Road, Sanair, Airborne, Wiscasset and Scotia Speedworld in Halifax, NS. The 1994 ACT champion, he also collected NEPSA, PASS, and BRMS titles as well as track crowns at Beech Ridge and Wiscasset. His three 250 victories (1984, 1997 and 2005) are testimony to his longevity.
